Wrightsville Beach, NC has several tiny parks.  Land is precious, so if it is too small to be developed, it becomes a park.  This is the view looking across Island Drive Park toward Seapath Towers (condominiums).

Thespian hall

This building on North Third Street in Wilmington, NC is both City Hall (in the front) and Thalian Hall (on the left side).  One of the oldest performance halls in North Carolina, it has been renovated many times and still provides a vibrant theatre venue for the community.
